Where is the retreat held?
The retreat will take place at The Asha Centre located in The Forest of Dean. You'll receive full directions and arrival info upon booking.
What’s included in the price?
Your booking includes accommodation, all meals, and drinks, plus all retreat activities (like yoga, meditation, workshops, etc.). Travel to and from the venue is not included.
Do I need to have yoga or meditation experience?
Not at all! This retreat is open to all levels — from complete beginners to regular practitioners. Everything is optional and offered in a welcoming, non-judgmental environment.
What should I bring?
We’ll send a full packing list closer to the retreat, but essentials usually include comfortable clothes, a water bottle, a journal, and any personal items you need. Yoga mats and props are provided (unless otherwise stated).
Can I come on my own?
Absolutely! Many people come solo and leave with new friends. We create a warm, inclusive space that makes everyone feel welcome.
What if I have dietary requirements?
We can cater for most dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and allergies. Just let us know when you book.
What if I need to cancel?
Please see our full cancellation policy in the Terms & Conditions section. In short: bookings are non-refundable within the 30 days prior to the retreat, but we’ll do our best to fill your spot if you need to cancel.
Is the retreat accessible?
We aim to make our retreats as accessible as possible. If you have specific access needs (physical, sensory, or otherwise), get in touch and we’ll work with the venue to accommodate you.
Can I book a private room?
The cost of the retreat is based on sharing. Please get in touch should you wish to discuss other options.
Is there WiFi or phone signal?
There is limited signal and WiFi in the main house only — which is part of the charm! We encourage you to unplug, but you’ll have access to emergency contact details in case someone needs to reach you.
Will there be free time?
Yes! The schedule includes plenty of downtime to rest, explore the grounds, journal, or just do nothing at all.
How do I get there?
Travel is not included within your booking. The Asha Centre is easily accessible by car, with ample parking at the venue. The nearest train station is Gloucester, which is 25–30 minutes in a taxi to The Asha Centre. If enough people are arriving from the same place, we’ll help coordinate ride shares.
